+ Pokémon are hiding on the trail. By using the Pokémon GO app, you can find Pokémon and Pokémon Stops in an augmented reality. Released in July 2016, it utilizes GPS technology to allow players to locate, catch, and train Pokémon in real-world locations. Players create an avatar and navigate a map that reflects their actual surroundings. See more at pokemongo.com.

+ There are 14 geocaches hidden along the Rountree Branch Trail. Geocaching is an outdoor game in which players are given the coordinates of items hidden in their environment. Players locate these items—referred to as “caches”—using any device with Global Positioning System (GPS) capabilities. Caches are varying containers that hold logbooks where seekers write their usernames. These can also contain small items, such as toys and coins (aka swag), which are taken and replaced with new items. Find out more at and/or geocaching.com.

+ This past year, we added two new members to the Board of Directors. Troy Ruegsegger started in April, and Brad Digman joined us in May. So, for about 5 months we had a full board of 13 members. However, in October, Alyssa Schaeffer resigned because of a move out of town. So, currently there is one board member vacancy, and the secretary position is also vacant.
